There are ten main El'aran Lords over Galen, each associated with a physical element/phenomenon.
All Galenian cities have a temple (properly called an Esunam) dedicated to one of the gods.
Throughout Galen, Esharin shrines to the gods can also be found.
Wind and Luck, Health
Arialis (Ar-yah-lee) - goddess
Free drifting goddess revered by travelers and seers of the future.
Water and Healing
Cia - goddess
Usually tranquil, but deadly when angry. Revered as a life-giving goddess in the deserts and forests, and followed dutifully by fishermen and seafarers.
Sister of Taberus and Halonia
Fire and War
Taberus - god
Held in esteem by the mountain folk, metalworkers, and soldiers everywhere.
Brother of Cia and Halonia
Earth, Safety, Tranquility, and Poison
Halonia - goddess
Cultivator of trees and flowers and raiser of mountains. Halonia gives life to the forests, and sand to the deserts and seashores.
Sister of Taberus and Cia
Light the Sun and Life
M'sar - god
The rising Morning Star. Patron of Truth and Blameless ways, M'sar is ever kind and forgiving. Knows no love for unholy darkness, or the undead.
Brother of Ea'sar, husband of Luria, father of A'saria
Darkness the Moon and Secrecy
Luria - goddess
Bringer of tides and hider of sacred things. Luria hides from the hunt those who kill in self-defense, and guides lost souls in the dark.
Wife of M'sar, mother of A'saria
Void, Destruction, and Illness
Ea'sar - god
Death follows close behind, Memories are lost. Space and Time have little meaning in the face of the Void. Ea'sar is the destroyer of things which are not meant to exist, the patron of punishment and righteous indignation, deserts, and barren lands.
Brother of M'sar
Time and Memories
A'saria - child goddess
Only a small child, but she controls time and the memories of mortals. Lost memories, time dragging on, or flying away, are the fickleness of her childish nature. Pure at heart, and innocent, A'saria will often blot out painful memories as a kindness to the traumatically harmed. Her tears heal a thousand hurts.
Daughter of M'sar and Luria
Space and Language
Kinv'ethg the Unpronounceable - god
Enigmatic god of communication and prophecies. Even his highest priests can rarely understand the speeches of this god, who refuses to speak in mortal tongue.
Patron of spells, incantations, and music, the arts, and writings.
Death, Doom, and Fate
Hesmareth - god
Banished to the world from the Aether for manipulating mortals in an attempt to destroy the young world of Galen.
Hesmareth, since, has become a collector of souls. Galen knows him as the Ferryman, embodied as the Grim Reaper.
